TslMarket.com

TSLMarket was an ecommerce website, you could buy digital items and digital currency with USD via PayPal/Credit Card.
It was a Website I made when I was about ~14 years old and ran for about 4 years. (~2008-2012) and had a few thousand customers.
This was also the reason why I had to learn how to file taxes 😀

I’ve decided to post it here because I find it interesting to see how much everything has changed since ~2008 🙂 .

It website sold Digital Items in a game called second life.
You would order in-game items on the website, and then get the items delivered in-game for virtual or real money.
It also allowed you to buy/sell Virtual Currency for real money.

The website, also would automatically create in-game vendors which you could then pay..
Which would contact the TSLMarket.com Server, which would then deliver the item in-game.

In total, it ran for a couple of years and made a few thousand dollars but the Teen Second Life Market was very small as a market. Since it was limited to teens who played the game second life.

Built primarily with PHP, SQL, and the Second Life In-game Scripting Language.

It ended due to the fact that Teen Second life, only allowed teens. So had to stop playing once I aged out.
